“ This was an excellent experience. We came here after cycling in the New Forest. Firstly, the staff were super friendly and accommodating. The place has a friendly atmosphere and the food is good. I’d come back here if we were in the area again. ”
“ A warm welcome for us( and our dog) made this friendly place a hit. Food was very good value, drinks nice and the whole experience a delight and in sharp contrast to the surly approach a few yards down the road at The Terrace . ”
“ Patwa: Da plies ya niem Kamanas bot notn bout it no kaman. Wat a nais plies! Di fuud ties riili an di piipl we wok ya so frenli an kain. English: There is nothing common about this bar and restaurant. Really lovely place. The food was delicious and the staff were brilliant. ”
“ A great find in Brockenhurst. Really tasty full English breakfast. Good quality coffee, but the best thing was the lovely team there, especially Lucy- she could not have been more friendly or helpful. Would definitely recommend ”
“ Food was lovely. Described as air fried. But our two meals arrived same time. Piping hot. Burger was delicious clearly a butchers burger. Fries were great. The roast beef was tasty. Can’t fault food. Service from entering was really friendly. Next time in Brockenhurst will call in. (Sensible prices for great food). Dog friendly. Said needed it there are charges ports at nearly every table. ”
“ The Commoners Bar - in my travels, this would also be at home somewhere in Czechia or Germany. Stylish interior with industrial type lighting. Spacious with a great atmosphere. Welcomed by friendly bar staff member Lana from Ukraine, passionate. Setting up a bar-tab was no problems as we were sitting inside. High tables with high stools for 2 to 4 people, normal height tables too and comfy sofas in the front. Plenty of electrical points for those wishing to charge or use their electronic devices with free wifi. The bar, an impressive array of wines and top shelf. Cider, lager and a guest ale, Hicks, at 5%. Nicely chilled (but not too much) and not too hoppy. Looking at the menu, the prices were reasonable, not outlandish. Grazing boards, pizzas, something for the little ones, sides, buns and wraps. I opted for a burger that was served in a ciabatta bun and not brioche. Partner opted for ham, egg and chips. Both were exceptionally good. Our bill came in under 50 for drinks, sharers plate and 2 main courses. A rarerity round here. Definately coming back and suggest others visit too. Their drinks menu is one to read. Definately worth coming into this bar in Brockenhurst, relaxed, welcoming and not over-priced. Was very impressed their loos especially the disabled. Clean and functional. ”
